Whether alone, together or with friends, Chris and I nonstop think, talk and create our Inn, Amor del Mar. When we’re not heads down with the design/build process we’re focused on the theme, the image and bottom line… our intention is always to have our guests feel special. This quote, from author Guy Kawasaki, speaks volumes.
In Mexico, when meeting another they’ll often say, Encantado, which means enchanted. I must say the simple sound of those words fills me with delight.
Awesome. That’s our intention. Absolutely!
Why limit this concept to business? Enchanting others, or at least doing my best, is one of those wee ways I can make a difference in anothers day. Sometimes, it’s as simple as asking someone about their day… and truly listening. Sincere compliments, shared just because can illuminate another. ((((HUGS)))) of course, can be restorative ~ best to know the person you embrace or ask first. A simple smile can be magical. A note, an email, a phone call, there are so many little ways to enchant another, let’s all give it a go, K?
Reflecting on the above led me to todays topic.

I decided to write about… mirrors. The previous owners of our soon to be Inn left behind so many mirrors. Walls and walls of mirrors. We asked our guys to take them down and store them. As we get closer to the finishing and decoration stages my mind is eager to use the mirrors in interesting ways.
Mirrors can be classic or classy and if not careful mirrors can be cliche…
Mirror as a backsplash is delightful, just remember mirror reflects everything… is that what you want?
Mirror in the changing room would keep me on my exercise plan.
So pretty, I can imagine this in a small space.

Enjoy your lovely chandelier all the more by reflecting it, how romantic.
When putting mirror behind a piece of furniture be sure the behind is worthy of the attention.
I’d adore writing my blog from this corner of beauty.
Let’s just say “I want”.
Pretty for baby/

Room expanding… and if you have a view opposite, marvelous.
Delighted by mirror furniture!
This delights me beyond words!
As much as I love shells and mirror, this is a little much but oh it’s glamourous in it’s own special way.
For those who want to extend their summer, this is a lovely idea. If you don’t have walls of windows, mirrors can fake it for you.
Now I ask you ~ What one thing are you going to do today to have another feel enchanted?
Inspire someone today!
Not feeling it? Be kind. Be Generous. BE LOVE!
